Welcome to the website of Girlguiding Sussex East County's 7th International Camp Olave 2015

So Olave 2015 is over, and what a great camp it was.

  • 400+ guides and members of The Senior Section from across the county.

  • 130+ additional participants from other parts of the UK and international visitors.

  • International guests from all five WAGGGS regions.

It was so exciting to have all these groups on site participating in our Earth, Air, Water and Fire themed camp.
I’m sure everyone who was there will have their favourite memory; I loved coming out of the closing ceremony to see the lanterns lighting the way to the field for the fireworks. I’m also sure that many new friendships were made and for many retuning to Olave meant meeting up with old friends again.
I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who was involved in the preparation, planning and the delivery of the camp. Quite simply without all of the time given by our many volunteers a camp like this would not be possible.
Girlguiding Sussex East County hopes to see you at the next Olave camp.
